Here are scripts that I’ve written for Greasemonkey, “a Firefox extension that allows you to customize the way webpages look and function.”
- Simpy: Easier Bookmark Nicknames · 2008-02-06
For use with Simpy, a “tagging, social bookmarking, and personal search engine” service. This script sets the default value of the bookmark nickname field to the title of the page being bookmarked, making it easier to trim out unwanted parts of a page’s title before bookmarking it. It eliminates the need to re-type or cut-and-paste parts of a page’s title that you want to keep in the bookmark’s nickname.
